White Christmas July 12th, 2009

Last Christmas was a blast. I kept reminiscing about that time especially when I miss my family and friends.

That night, we celebrated Christmas at my parent’s house in Maryland. My mom was cooking up a really delicious feast of turkey with cranberry sauce, apple pie, ginger bread and a whole lot more. Eggnog was also enjoyed, of course. The whole house was filled with beautiful flickering of the Christmas lights both inside and outside of the house. The Christmas tree was such a sight to see with its great decorations, bright lights and numerous gifts at its feet. My dad took out our portable power generators in case of a power failure. This way, we will still get to enjoy Christmas at its finest.

I only stayed at my parent’s house for two days. I mostly stayed at home and spend time with my parents. My friends would often drop by to chat about the good ol’ days. It was a whole lot of fun.

Now that Christmas is fast approaching, I really hope I can visit my parents again. I haven’t seen them since then. It would be so nice to sleep in my old bed in my old room and eat my mom’s wonderful meals.

Boring Day July 12th, 2009

Today was an uneventful day. I had no plans of going out even though a few friends had invited me to hang out with them. I wanted to spend my time surfing the web even though it will be a bit boring. As soon as I finished eating my breakfast and doing morning chores, I immediately went online and browsed my favourite websites.

As soon as I got my fill on the daily news, gossips and latest fashion trends. I also downloaded a few e-books, mp3 and movies to keep me amused. I thought my cell phone could use a bit of vibe so I searched some sites as to where I can download ringtones.

I spent my afternoon viewing online videos that either crack me up or put me to tears. After my video marathon, I updated some of my blogs and personal pages. I checked some email and replied to those messages which were from my friends.

Today was a remarkably boring day. However, I am pleased to have stayed inside the house for a change. It was refreshing not to inhale pollution and be stuck in traffic. I wish for more days like this soon. I really enjoyed my boring day.

It’s Fun Being A Girl July 12th, 2009

As soon as girls hit puberty, the fascination for fashion and style are more obvious. Girls want to look great all the time to feel confident, to impress friends and to attract boys.

Aside from curiosity on how to apply makeup, girls often experiment with their clothes and accessories as well. Most girls often do this during sleepover s and such. They will spend all night doing facials, manicures, pedicures and doing makeovers.

Girls often like to borrow each other’s clothes especially when going on a date. Hair and skin care is also needed for girls to be extra cute and pretty. A girl’s hair has to be always tidy, shiny and sweet smelling. For the skin, it has to be smooth, silky and free from any scars.

It is definitely fun being a girl and this increase as time pass by. Soon, doors will be opened and seats will be pulled. Flowers and chocolates will be given as well, and if one is lucky expensive jewelry too. When a girl becomes a woman, the fun never stops. Marriage and motherhood is another phase a girl undergoes soon. Though, these come with great responsibilities, it is definitely fun and fulfilling.
